Dr. Jaga Giebultowicz
If insects were tiny clocks, Dr. Giebultowicz research would be in the inner gears that keep them on time. Studying the cellular and subcellular processes behind the circadian rhythms displayed by insects is the focus of Dr. Giebultowicz' research group. A late night worker herself, it is easy to wonder whether Dr. Giebultowicz has discovered a means to avoid sleep altogether. That said, she is continually full of energy and enthusiasm for entomology and biology in general. In addition to her research, she also teaches the Insect Physiology course at OSU.
